With uncle Johnny facing the possibility of time in the slammer, the world is wondering what ever happened to the youngest members of the Gambino crime family. That’s right I’m talking about the Gotti Boys. Carmine, John and Frank first got their debut on A&E’s Growing Up Gotti – a reality show that documented the lives of these crime royalty heirs.
Since the show’s short stint on television, the Gotti boys are now all of college age and have kept busy doing what they know best – being belligerent fools. So spike up your blowout, reapply your spray tan, put on your best Armani Exchange shirt and brace yourself to learn about the Gotti brothers’ big plans since the show’s cancellation.
Oldest son, Carmine is said to be to studying at NYU but there are rumors that Hotti Gotti #1 is taking a year off from his studies. Instead of racketeering like his poppa, Carmine aspires to be a musical artist and is currently signed with Ruff Ryders and working on his album debut. (After hearing some of his music on his Myspace, I think he should have stayed at NYU).
When we last left him, middle kid John was set on moving out of family comfort zone and moving up north to attend Boston University. But after endless Google and BU directory searches, I have yet to find anything that confirms his enrollment at BU. Some searches did, however, lead me to believe that he is, in fact, enrolled in college somewhere in New York.
And lastly is the youngest brother, Frank. Although Frank went on to write a book entitled, The Gotti Diet: How I Took Control of My Body, Lost 80 Pounds, and Discovered How to Stay Fit Forever (phew, that was a mouthful!), he has strayed far from the path to success. In 2006, he was found driving with Oxycontin, morphine pills and marijuana in his car.
Maybe it’s the dangerous family ties or the tons of hair gel used, whatever the reason this crime family offsprings’ futures are looking bleaker than a rainy day in the Hamptons.
